Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship winner receives invites to play in two major championships – the AIG Women’s Open & the Amundi Evian Championship
The Asia-Pacific Golf Federation (APGC), which organises the major international amateur championships in the region has announced its schedule for 2023 which includes two new initiatives – an APGC Juniors ( for under 16 players) and APGC Mid-Amateurs ( for players between the ages of 35 and 54 years).
India has been regularly sending teams to all the APGC events as one of its very active members.
Calendar of APGC Events 2023 –
April 22-24 – The Royal Junior Tournament, Japan
May 15-18 – APGC Junior Championships, Orchard Golf & CC, Philippines ( New event)
June – APGC Mid-Amateur Championship, Glenmarie, Golf & CC, Malaysia (TBC) (New event)
August 3-5 – Bonallack Trophy & Patsy Haskins Trophy, La Manga Golf Club, Spain ( Asia pacific v Europe Amateur Men’s & Women’s Team matches)
October 26-29 – Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Australia
November – APGC Senior Championships (dates and Venue TBC)
