Arjun Atwal, on the verge of turning 50, and after a decent show last week on the PGA Tour, missed the cut at the US$ 3.7mn Barracuda Championship in California, a unique event where scores are done on a modified stableford format.

Aditi Ashok partnered with Pajaree Anannarukarn for a second consecutive year
Indian LPGA star player, Aditi Ashok of Bangalore, who had finished 3rd last year in this pairs event, with Pajaree Anannarukarn of Thailand, had a disappointing start of 72 and despite subsequent rounds of 62-69-65 finished in 24th place at the US$ 2.3mn Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational in Michigan.
Ashok has played in 14 events this year, making 10 cuts and earning US$ 147,181(₹1.1 crores) so far. This week she plays the US$ 6.5mn Evian Championship in France, the fourth major on the LPGA Tour schedule.
The American duo of Lizette Salas and Jennifer Kupcho, who shot 68-61-64-61 (26-under 254), won the tournament by five shots.
