India’s top-amateur, 16-year-old Avani Prashanth, shot 68-66-70 (12-under 204) to win the Hero WPGT’s 15th Leg at Chandigarh Golf Club by a whopping 13 strokes ahead of the field with professional Gaurika Bishnoi finishing 2nd on 1-over 217.
Prashanth’s winning margin in her 3rd career win on the Pro Tour is the highest since 2016 on the Hero WPGT.
This week Avani defends her All India Ladies title at Royal Calcutta Golf Club.
18 year old Pranavi Urs, who played in the LPGA Qualifying Event last week in the United States, finished the year atop the 2022 Hero Order of Merit while Seher Atwal’s final day 69 and T5th finish pushed her into second place in the season ending rankings while Hitaashee Bakshi ended third.
