17-year-old Bangalorean amateur, who has made waves for Indian golf around the world in 2023, again made the most of an invitation by the Ladies European Tour to play the US$ 440,000 Mallorca Ladies Open as she shot 69-72-73 to finish tied-13th in Spain.
Avani a winner on the LET Access Series earlier in 2023, the second rung women’s pro tour in Europe, recently finished tied-5th at the US$400,000 Hero Women’s Indian Open, a third place finish in the LET’s Asia Qualifier and 4th place at the World Amateur in Abu Dhabi.
Diksha Dagar, who currently lies 3rd on the LET rankings shot 71-72-75 to be tied-31st at a total score of 2-over 218 and now goes into this week’s US$ 710,000 final event on the 2023 Tour with a chance to finish No 1 in Europe !
The top three players, who all have a chance to win the season long title , are now Thailand’s Cheenglab, France’s Boutier, and Diksha.
