Bangalore is generally considered the 2nd biggest golf market in India after Delhi – NCR. Clubs there have produced many players who have represented India, including Anirban Lahiri and Aditi Ashok – currently India’s leading male and female professional golfers.
The two major clubs there – Bangalore Golf Club (BGC) and Karnataka Golf Association ( KGA) recently held their elections.
At BGC Sunil K. Vasant was elected as the new Captain while the full list of elected committee members is listed below –
