Gaganjeet Bhullar produced final day fireworks with a 64 to follow rounds of 67-69-69 to finish tied for 5th at the US$ 1.5 mn International Series Thailand at Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin. .
Bhullar, who has won nine times on the Asian Tour, was playing in his first tour event of the season after being out for almost two months. The 33-year-olds final round was bogey-free.
Bhullar picked up US$ 41,950 (₹32 lacs) to position himself nicely on the new 2022 Asian Tour Order of Merit.

Bhullar is dividing his time between the Asian and DP World (European) Tours this season as he only has a partial card for the European Tour.
Seven of the 15 Indians in the field made the cut. Chandigarh’s Karandeep Kochhar was tied for second going into the final round, three strokes behind for the leader after shooting 65-68-66. However, he shot 72 in the final round to slide down the leaderboard, finishing tied-16th.
A former Asian Tour winner, Ajeetesh Sandhu (68-68-69-68) was joined by Honey Baisoya (67-67-69-70) in a tie for 32nd at 15-under 273.
Aman Raj shot 67-70-67-70 (-14) to finish tied-41st. Asian Tour winner Viraj Madappa of Bangalore shot 65-70-72-72 (-9) to finish tied-59th and Chikkarangappa S. shot 70-68-75-69 (-6) to finish tied-62nd.
The tournament was won by Korean- American Sihwan Kim, who shot 63 on Sunday to win by two shots with a final score of 26-under.
