Last week’s Dunhill Links Championship at St. Andrews, Scotland—one of the European (DP World) Tour’s most glamorous events—once again attracted its usual mix of celebrity star power. Hollywood legend Michael Douglas, comedian Bill Murray (marking his 10th appearance), Hollywood actor and director Andy Garcia, actress Katheryn Newton, former footballers Gareth Bale and Jamie Redknapp, and cricket icons Lord Ian Botham, Michael Vaughan, Kevin Pietersen and Jimmy Anderson were among the famous faces spotted throughout the week.

The Dunhill Links follows a pro-am format, similar to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the U.S. PGA Tour, pairing one amateur with a professional. The action unfolds across three iconic courses—The Old Course at St. Andrews, Carnoustie Golf Links, and Kingsbarns Golf Links—with the top 60 professionals and the leading 20 pro-am teams advancing to the final round at St. Andrews, even if the professional fails to make the individual cut.
