The 4 city Chola World Corporate Golf Challenge, for which four qualifying rounds were held during November and December 2022 in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi, will now see the National Finals for the 16 winners of the qualifiers taking place April 20-22nd at Riverdale Golf Club, Bangkok. From the 16 finalists, the two winners will represent India at the World Finals of the World Corporate Golf Challenge in Tenerife, Spain this October where they will compete with winners from 25 other countries.
The World Corporate Golf Challenge is now in its 22nd edition in India, making it the longest continuously running multi-city corporate tournament in India, having kicked off in 1999.
The WCGC is one of the largest corporate golf tournaments in the world. It is arguably the most established global «Business to Business» golf tournament open to top-level executives worldwide who share a passion for golf. Since its inception in 1993, WCGC has grown so much that more than one million golfers from over fifty countries have participated.
The WCGC is currently organised in more than 25 global territories representing an international network of National Golf Tournaments. The annual winners from each country compete in the World Final, representing their company and country in conditions that resemble a professional tour event and on world class courses and golf tourism destinations.
India has emerged winners at the World Final on two occasions and have been runner up twice.
At the National Finals, players compete off the championship tees in order to select two players who can handle the longer tougher conditions, once they play in Europe. Last year, the two winners were, Shiv Moola from Bangalore and Khushaal Thackersey from Mumbai.

Two players could not travel to Bangkok for the finals due to other commitments. Besides the finalists, an invitation section tournament will be held simultaneously which will see another 32 golfers competing for consolation prizes, making the field 46 players at Riverdale Golf Club.
