Nearly 100 corporate golfers teed off in excellent conditions in the Chola WCGC second regional round at Hyderabad Golf Association. Four golfers, the winners and runners up in two handicap categories, qualified for the national finals, which will be held in Thailand in April 2023 Two more regional rounds remain to be held in Mumbai and Delhi respectively.
The 16 finalists will compete for two spots to represent corporate India at the World Final, which will be held in Europe in the summer of 2023.
The historic HGA build in and around the impressive remains of the Golconda Fort proved to be a stunning venue and provided excellent playing conditions for the contestants.
The 2019 All India Ladies Amateur Winner and a 4-time winner on the Hero WPGT, Sneha Singh played a “Beat the Pro’ contest with every fourball and gave away prizes too.
