Continuing its busy season of competitive golf, Delhi Golf Club hosted the Delhi Golf Society’s NCR Juniors Cup from May 10-12. The tournament had hefty prize vouchers on offer, making it the very first instance of it happening in India in junior golf.
Across all Age categories, the winners were handed over vouchers worth ₹25,000, adding up to ₹ 2.5 lacs in total.
Rakshit Dahiya of New Delhi shot 75-75-74 (8-over 224) to win the Category A Boys title by three-strokes over Jai Bahl 72-76-79 (11-over 227) at DGC’s Lodhi Course.
In Girls A Category, Mannat Brar shot 71-72-75 (2-over 218) to win by a seven-stroke margin over Kashika Mishra 76-76-73 (9-over 225). Preitisha K Gill shot 75-75-79 (13-over 229) to finish third in Girls Category A & B Combined.
In Boys B Category, Ranveer Mitroo shot 72-73-76 (5-over 221) to beat Kartik Singh 73-76-77 (10-over 226) by five-strokes. In Boys Combine A&B Ranveer Mitroo was declared winner by three-strokes over Rakshit Dahiya 75-75-74 (8-over 224).
In Girls B Category, Prarthana Khanna shot 77-77-78 (16-over 232) to beat Alysha Dutt 75-79-81 (19-over 235) by three-strokes.
In Boys B Category, Arihaan Beri shot 66-64 (6-over 130) to win by three-strokes over Chaitanya Pandey 66-67 (9-over 133).
In Girls C Category, Anushka Gupta shot 67-69 (12-over 136) to emerge victorious over Riddhima Singh 66-75 (17-over 141).
In Category D Boys, Jot Sarut Gupta shot 67-66 to join Sohraab Sing Talwar 69-64 at 9-over 133.
In Category D Girls, Ojaswini Saraswat shot 67-58 (1-over 125) to win by a massive 13-stroke margin over Dalisha Chetry 69-69 (14-over 138).

In Category E Boys, Divjot Gupta shot 33-33 (4-over 66) to win by a shot over Avviraaj Kalia 36-31 (5-over 67).
In Category E Girls, Amaira Gulati shot 34-40 (12-over 74) to win the title by 11-strokes over Dhriti Singh 42-43 (23-over 85).
