The Delhi Golf Club hosted the fourth edition of the annual Quadrangular Golf Tournament, a three-day event played between Royal Calcutta Golf Course (Kolkata), DGC (New Delhi), KGA (Bangalore) and BPGC (Mumbai).
The tournament was won by the host team, DGC, with scores of 357 and 809 for a total score of 1166. RCGC finished runner-up with scores of 372 and 807, four shots behind the hosts.
The BPGC and KGA teams finished well behind the first two, with the BPGC posting a team score of 1227 to finish third, followed by KGA at 1270.
In the main stroke play competition, the best five scores were considered on Day 1 and the best 10 scores were considered on Day 2.
However, the roles were reversed in the betterball stableford format (best of five). BPGC emerged victorious with scores of 183 and 177 for a total of 360 points, one better than KGA, who had 361.
Team DGC scored 185 and 186 to finish third at 371, followed by RCGC at 409.
