28-year-old Miguel Tabuena of Philippines shot 68-71-72-65 (12-under 276) to edge India’s Rashid Khan and win the 2nd edition of the US$750,000 DGC Open presented by Mastercard as part of the Asian Tour.
Tabuena entered the final round at 5-under 211, six strokes behind 54-hole leader Khan, who was at 11-under 205 and proceeded to shoot a bogey-free 65 that included seven birdies, three on the front nine and four on the back nine, most notably on the 15th and 16th hole to clinch the victory at the scenic Delhi Golf Club in a rain-hit final round.
Khan, who was chasing his first Asian Tour win in over nine years, had a three-shot lead over Chikkarangappa S. of Bangalore going into the final round. While he did not play as well as he had on the first three days, he hung on to his lead until bogeys on the 15th and the 17th, where he had a bad lie in a greenside bunker on the par three and failed to get up and down. Khan needed an eagle on the par-five 18th to draw level with Tabuena, but his approach just missed the green and he could only chip to four feet and had to settle for a four.

A weather delay of one hour and 20 minutes while Khan was playing the 14th did little to help his chances. He shot 67-70-68-72 (11-under 277) to finish runner-up by one shot.
This was Tabuena’s 3rd Asian title and first win since the Queen’s Cup in Dec. 2018.
Six Indians including Rashid finished inside the top-10:
Chikkarangappa S. shot 68-66-74-72 (-8) to finish 4th
S.S.P. Chawrasia shot 72-70-71-68 (-7) to finish 5th
Gaganjeet Bhullar shot 74-71-68-69 (-6) to finish T6th
Om Prakash Chouhan shot 69-68-73-72 (-6) to finish T-6th
Honey Baisoya shot 71-74-65-72 (-6) to finish T-6th
