22-year-old Diksha Dagar, consolidated her standing at 3rd in the Ladies European Tour rankings with a 21st place finish at the US$ 320,000 Big Green Egg Open in the Netherlands.
It was another steady performance from the young Indian pro, who had a 22nd place finish at The Women’s British Open after winning a title in Czech Republic.
The LET had a week earlier stated that the top 4 players in the final 2023 LET Rankings would automatically get their playing rights on the lucrative LPGA Tour in 2024 but last week they reversed that decision saying it would apply only in 2025 – a big disappointment for Diksha. However she will still get an automatic berth in the final stage of the LPGA Qualifying this November to try and get her playing rights in USA.
She has played in 21 events so far this season, with one win and six top-10s. Here’s a snapshot of her results:
- In 11 of 15 tournaments played, she finished with under par total scores for the tournament.
- In 31 out of last 43 rounds played – she has scored Par or under par.
- In 6 of the 15 events played – she finished in the Top 10 with 1 win, 1- 3rd, 2-6th place and 2-7th place positions.
- World Rankings improved from 416 to 156 since May 2023.
- Paris Olympics Qualification rankings improved from 60 to 42 since May. The top 50 get into the Paris Olympics .
- Ladies European Tour rankings improved from 2022 year ending 54th to 3rd currently.
Meanwhile Vani Kapoor shot 74-71-70 (1-under 215) for a tied-39th finish. These were the only Indian pros who survived the 36-hole cut of 2-over 146.

Amandeep Drall – 71-77 (+3)
Ridhima Dilawari – 75-74 (+5)
Tvesa Malik – 77-76 (+9)

The golfers will now head to Switzerland for the US$ 320,000 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open from Sep. 15-17.
