22-year-old Diksha Dagar, who is having the best year of her career, shot 70-66-67 (10-under 203) to finish tied seventh in the US$ 320,000 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open at Golfpark Holzhäusern in Switzerland, making it her seventh top-10 finish of the season.
Diksha now moves closer to the No. 2 position in the LET Rankings, at 1472.34 points, leaving her just 15 points behind Ana Trivino of Spain, who is at 1487.20.

The best ever finish by an Indian golfer on the LET’s Order of Merit is Aditi Ashok’s second place in 2016, a year in which Ashok won the Hero Women’s Indian Open and the Qatar Ladies Open in consecutive weeks. Dagar has a realistic chance of matching that feat this year.
Meanwhile Amandeep Drall shot 69-74-71 (1-over 214) to tie for 43rd while Vani Kapoor shot 72-73 (+1) to miss the cut by a stroke in Switzerland.
Dagar is now taking two well deserved weeks off to return to India after being away for 19 consecutive weeks, playing 17 tournaments in 14 countries.
Nex stop on the Ladies European Tour is the US$ 380,000 Lacoste Ladies Open de France from Sep. 28-30 while the WGAI holds a tournament this week at DLF Golf Club as a warm up for the Hero Women’s Indian Open in mid October at the same venue.
