Ladies European Tour standout, Diksha Dagar delivered a steady performance at the US$ 440,000 KPMG Women’s Irish Open, carding rounds of 72-74-69-73 for a 4-under 288, finishing tied-38th. Dagar was the only Indian among four entries to make the cut at the tournament.
This season, Diksha has competed in 17 events, achieving four top-10 finishes and earning US$ 93,941, which places her 16th on the Ladies European Tour (LET) rankings. She is still looking for a win, in order to match her 3rd placed finish in the 2023 LET final rankings.
Mysore’s rookie LET player Pranavi Urs missed the cut by a stroke, with rounds of 73-74 (1-over), while Tvesa Malik (76-78) and Ridhima Dilawari (79-76) also fell short of the weekend.
The LET now heads to Spain for the US$ 1.2 million Le Sella Open, taking place from September 19-22.
