The DLF League kicked off this week
The DLF Golf League kicked off this week in Gurgaon following the successful completion of Classic Golf League in September and the Delhi GC League in October.
The DLF league consists of 12 teams with 12 players per team of which two could be non-members of the club. The teams have been divided into two groups of six, with the teams playing each other twice in the round robin stage. Each match will feature eight of the 12 players, who will play four matches in a four-ball better ball format. The top two teams from each group will go through to the semi-finals.
At DLF, each team plays 5 league stage games on the Gary Player course and 5 games on the Arnold Palmer course. Whereas the league stage goes for a month from Nov 23 to December 23rd, the semi finals and finals will resume around January 20th, after a month break for the Christmas and New Year holiday season.
