India Golf Weekly readers are invited to support the Indian Cancer Society’s 14th annual fundraising golf tournament at the iconic Delhi Golf Club on Friday, November 8th, 2024. This prestigious event offers a unique opportunity for golfers to contribute to a vital cause while enjoying a day on the DGC’s iconic championship par-72 Peacock Course.
A donation of Rs 50,000 secures entry for a pair, while Rs 1 lakh recognises you as a “Hole Donor,” along with entry for one fourball. Thanks to the continued generosity of our annual donors, the Indian Cancer Society is already set for a successful fundraiser before the first shot is even played! The winning pair from the event will be sent to the International Pairs Festival of Golf in Hua Hin, Thailand in March 2025, an experience to remember.
The tournament promises an exciting day with attractive giveaways, on-course contests, and prizes, ensuring that every participant feels like a winner. Tee-off times are scheduled between 7:45 and 9:45 AM on both the front and back nine, culminating in a delightful lunch and awards ceremony. The day will also feature lucky draws and raffles starting at 3 PM after the final group finishes their round.
Proceeds from the tournament will go towards providing care and rehabilitation for underprivileged cancer patients, raising awareness about early detection, and offering support to survivors. This annual event continues to make a meaningful impact, combining the love of golf with the spirit of giving.
