
Manu Gandas made his fifth cut of the season on the European Tour in Germany
27-year-old Manu Gandas from Gurgaon, who earned his playing rights on the 2023 European Tour by topping the 2022 PGTI rankings, shot 69-74-69-75 (1-under 287) to creditably finish tied for 43rd in the US$ 2.2mn BMW International Open in Munich, Germany.
It has been a tough introduction to European golf for Gandas so far – this was only his fifth cut in 13 starts
Meanwhile Shubhankar Sharma, who will be in the field for The Open championship next month, shot 75-73 (+4) to miss the cut by four strokes.
The tour will now head to England for the US$ 3.5mn Betfred British Masters which will be hosted by Sir Nick Faldo in Sutton Coldfield from June 29-July 2.
