Gaurika Bishnoi
Gaurika Bishnoi and Ridhima Dilawari, both 23 years old from NCR registered 6th and 9th place finishes respectively at the US$ 41,000 Lavaux Ladies Open in Switzerland. Gaurika shot 71-72-69 (4-under 212) and Ridhima shot 74-69-70 (3-under 213) to register their first top-10 finishes of the season on the LET Access Series, a second rung women’s tour in Europe.

Talking about her week, Gaurika said, “I’m really happy with how my game is trending. I’ve worked rather hard on my game and fitness while being off the tour to make a comeback like this. A top 10 finish in addition to solid golf is definitely a cherry on top.”
Other Indian girls in the field included seasoned pro Amandeep Drall of Chandigarh and teenager Pranavi Urs of Mysore who shot matching 2-over 218 totals to finish tied-22nd. Vani Kapoor who owns a record 28 wins in India tied for 33rd at 5-over 221.
Durga Nittur (+8) was unable to make the weekend cut set at 6-over par.
