The annual Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Conference is set to be held from October 23-24 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) in Malaysia’s capital city. This year’s conference coincides with the prestigious LPGA event, US$3 million Maybank Championship, scheduled for October 24-27, featuring top players such as Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Ayaka Furue, Atthaya Thitikul, and Rose Zhang.

Notable keynote speakers at the conference include Chris Gray, Head of Sustainable Golf & Agronomy Asia-Pacific at The R&A, and Mark Donohue, Regional Manager for Southeast Asia at Rain Bird.

Anyone interested in learning more about the golf industry may register for the 2024 Asian Golf Industry Federation Conference, by email to communications@agif.asia.

A similar event for the golf industry in India is being staged by the Golf Industry Association of India ( GIA)  Oct. 17-18 at Oxford Golf Resort in Pune.

About AGIF

The AGIF, founded in 2010, is a non-profit industry federation dedicated to advancing the golf industry across Asia. It emphasises the need for golf facilities to be managed by qualified professionals and promotes standardised education and certification. In Asia’s diverse landscape, the AGIF acts as a unifying body, collaborating with national organisations to implement best practices tailored to both regional and country-specific needs. The Federation’s core pillars—Club Management, Greenkeeping, and Groundskeeping—engage managers, owners, committees, and governments in fostering professional and sustainable industry practices.
