Anirban and Jeev at the Kapoor Watch Company x Rolex event
Under bright blue skies on January 24, the Kapoor Watch Company (KWC), in collaboration with Rolex, curated a special and memorable event at the picturesque DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram, with Rolex Testimonees and Indian golfing icons Anirban Lahiri and Jeev Milkha Singh taking center stage.
The day began with a friendly nine-hole, stableford-style fourball match, underscoring values of precision, excellence, and elegance—attributes synonymous with both Rolex and the sport of golf. Captaining their respective teams, Lahiri, a two-time European Tour winner and LIV Golf’s Crushers GC team member, and Jeev – a four-time European Tour winner – led an intimate group of golf enthusiasts, watch aficionados, and trusted clients in a spirited, lighthearted round.
The match was not overtly competitive, focusing instead on building connections and celebrating the shared passion for golf. Even so, Team Jeev narrowly edged out Team Anirban with a one-point difference in a closely contested round.
The setting was also graced by the presence of Alexandre Tabary – General Manager of Rolex for India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, who had touched down in the country a day prior. Directors of Kapoor Watch Company, Amarjeet Singh Kapoor and Sandeep Kapoor, expressed their pride in the enduring partnership with Rolex. They emphasized the significance of hosting such an event, not only to celebrate the Rolex Testimonees but also to reaffirm the shared commitment to excellence.
