Ridhima Dilawari is now a 12-time winner on the domestic tour
24-year-old Ridhima Dilawari of New Delhi shot a final round 66 to overtake overnight leader Afshan Fatima of Jaipur for a 5 stroke victory at the 14th Leg of the 2022 Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour (HWPGT) at Panchkula Golf Club outside Chandigarh in Haryana by five-strokes over Afshan Fatima of Jaipur 70-74-72 (even-par 216)
Ridhima’s win was the 12th of her career and second this season. Talking about her win, Ridhima said, “I feel like the game has been trending in the right direction and the individual pieces had been there for a while but I just hadn’t been able to package it together into a solid week. So I’m happy that I was able to do that in Panchkula.”
Gaurika Bishnoi of Gurgaon shot 72-78-68 (2-over 218) to finish third, followed by Seher Atwal 73-74-72 (3-over 219) in fourth.
Players will now move down across town to Chandigarh Golf Club to play the 15th Leg of the 2022 season from Nov. 15-18.
