15-time major winner and host of the Hero World Challenge in Albany, Bahamas, Tiger Woods has announced that he will be playing the event scheduled for Nov. 30-Dec.3.
After reserving a spot in the tournament labelled as ” tournament exemption” during the initial field list announcement, Woods has now replaced that designation with his own name.
Last year also, Woods had confirmed his participation, only to withdraw on Monday of tournament week due to a painful condition in his foot known as plantar fasciitis. Hopefully, fans will be able to see him in action as the event is likely to be televised live in India.
