Pro Golf – PGA Tour
The 2021 Hero World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods, is scheduled to take place from December 2-5 at Albany, Bahamas. The upcoming edition will feature the top 20 ranked available players and carry US$3.5 million in prize money. The 2020 edition was cancelled due to the pandemic.
The Hero World Challenge benefiting Woods’ TGR Foundation, held its inaugural event in 2000 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Arizona. In 2001, it moved to Sherwood Country Club outside LA and in 2014, was played at Isleworth Country Club in Florida before moving to the Bahamas the following year.
Hero Motocorp, the title sponsor, has continued with sponsorship of events on the European Tour in 2020 and in 2021 and looks forward to the Hero Indian Open returning to the European Tour calendar soon.
