Tiger Woods with Viktor Hovland (Winner 2021 edition)

The 2022 Hero World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods, is scheduled to take place from December 1-4 at Albany, Bahamas. The tournament, sponsored by Indian two wheeler world leader, Hero MotoCorp will see 15 of the world’s top 20 players in action for the US$ 3.5mn prize fund.

The tournament was highly hyped in the hopes of seeing Tiger’s return to professional golf, but he withdrew on Monday due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He alerted followers on Twitter that he remains committed to his remaining pair of scheduled starts in his last month as a 46-year-old.
