Hitaashee Bakshi, the younger of the teenage Bakshi sisters from Delhi, clinched her second professional title on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour at BPGC, Mumbai.
The 17-year-old Hitaashee shot 67-69-69 (5-under 205) to win by three shots over Hyderabad teenage amateur Sneha Singh, who had won the previous week. The pair were tied for the overnight lead at 4-under. Singh took a one-shot lead going into the back nine. And the pair were tied with three holes to play. Hitaashee proceeded to birdie the par-5 16th to edge ahead and another birdie on the par-5 18th, which Singh bogeyed, provided her final margin of victory.
Singh shot 68-68-72 (2-under 208). Seasoned pro Gaurika Bishnoi of Gurgaon finished third (69-72-69), followed by Mysore’s Pranavi Urs (71-68-72), who won the season opener & first-round leader Amandeep Drall (66-72-73) in a share of fourth place.
Jahanvi Bakshi, the elder of the Bakshi sisters, shot 75-68-71 (4-over 214) to finish sixth but remains at the top of the Hero Tour Order of Merit after three events.
