The 15-year-old Zara,  from Noida, reached the Round of 16 at the tournament and followed her creditable 6th place finish at the Junior Open in Scotland a few weeks earlier.

The performances of Brar and Anand along with the well documented exploits of 17 year old amateur Avani Prashanth of Bangalore augur well for Indian ladies golf in the near future.
