Amandeep Johl will be leading the refresher course for A&B category coaches

In a good initiative to help junior coaches upgrade their teaching skills, the Indian Golf Union (IGU) has enlisted the expertise of four distinguished teaching professionals to conduct online refresher courses open to all individuals interested in honing their golfing abilities.

Scheduled from January 8th to 10th, the refresher courses will be categorized into A, B, C, and D, catering to varying skill levels. Experienced coaches Indrajit Bhalotia of Kolkota and Amandeep Johl from Delhi will lead the A and B courses, while Deepinder Khullar from Gurgaon and Monish Bindra (formerly of Noida who has relocated to Bangalore) will oversee the Category C and D sessions.

All four instructors bring a wealth of experience, having played at significant professional levels, including participation on the Asian Tour and the Professional Golf Tour of India circuit.

This initiative not only underscores the IGU’s commitment to skill development but also reflects a strategic effort to make the sport more accessible to a wider audience across India. By offering online courses, the IGU ensures that enthusiasts from all corners of the country can participate in the learning experience.

To enrich the educational aspect of the refresher courses, the IGU and the coaches have curated a lineup of guest speakers for each of the three days. These speakers, experts in their respective fields, will complement the coaching sessions and provide valuable insights to participants.
