Indian girls do well on weekend in Germany

Diksha Dagar was joined by Tvesa Malik & Pranavi Urs for a T-24 finish

The Indian trio of Diksha Dagar, Pranavi Urs and Tvesa Malik all finished strongly on the weekend to finish with identical total scores of 1-under 287 to be tied-24th at the US$ 320,000 Amundi German Masters on the Ladies European Tour (LET) .

Tvesa Malik from Gurgaon led the weekend charge with rounds of 67-71 , while Pranavi Urs of Mysore shot 71-69, and Diksha Dagar shot 73-67 to make it 14 under par cumulatively for the three girls over the weekend.

Diksha Dagar, who had such a great 2023 season and continues to play consistently this year was scheduled to play in the U.S. Women’s Open Pre-Qualifying Tournament on May 20th at the same course but withdrew due to personal reasons.

Indian girls who missed the cut included – 

Sneha Singh – 75-75 (+6)

Vani Kapoor – 75-77 (+8)

Amandeep Drall – 76-78 (+10)

Avani Prashanth – 72 – Withdraw ( due to a dental problem)

This week, Indians  Vani Kapoor, Tvesa Malik, Diksha Dagar, Amandeep Drall, Sneha Singh, and Pranavi Urs were in France for the US$ 320,000 Jabra Ladies Open from May 23-25 at Evian Resort Golf Club. Diksha Dagar was the only Indian in the field to make the cut and register a tied-20th finish with her rounds of 72-72-71 at 2-over 215.
