17-year-old Sneha Singh from Hyderabad, 20-year-old Pranavi Urs from Mysore and 32-year-old Sharmila Nicollet, based in Florida, earned playing rights on the 2024 LPGA’s Epson Tour. For the first time in Indian golf history, at least three Indian girls will be seen in action on the Epson Tour which typically stages 20 events with purses of US$200,000.
The three girls all completed four rounds at the LPGA and Epson Tour Qualifying Tournament Stage-II played at Plantation Golf & CC in Florida, last week.
The trio will earn Category K status on the Epson Tour, which means they can play the Epson Tour but will not enjoy playing rights on the main LPGA Tour.
Only the top-40 and ties from Stage-II advanced to the final LPGA qualifying stage scheduled in Alabama.
