Danish Verma finished second in the Boys U-12 category
12-year-old Danish Verma from Ludhiana and 7-year-old Nihaal Cheema from Chandigarh, both scored 2nd place in their respective categories at the US Kids World Championship at Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Danish, who has been in the US for a month, recently triumphed in the Boys 11-12 category at the FCG Callaway World Championship held at the Pete Dye-designed course in Rancho Mirage, California.
In the girls’ division, Ojaswini Saraswat of Mohali finished runner-up in the Girls 11 category.
Both Danish and Nihaal are trained by Chandigarh coach Jesse Grewal, who also trains European Tour star Shubhankar Sharma.
