The two Indian lady professional teams finished 11th and 14th of the 22 competing teams at the inaugural US$ 750,000 Simone Asia Cup in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Whereas 29-year-old Panchkula lady pro golfer, Amandeep Drall, shot 72-77-72 (5-over 221) to finish tied-18th, Vani Kapoor, Drall’s team partner shot 78-70-74 (6-over 222) to finish tied-20th at the tournament. The team of Vani and Drall finished 11th at 11-over par.

Gaurika Bishnoi shot 77-74-72 (7-over 223) and Diksha Dagar 74-75-75 (8-over 224) to finish tied-22nd and tied-26th individually respectively in Indonesia while their team score of 15-over par put them at 14th.

The tournament, played in team and individual format was limited to 44 golfers from 16+ countries, and saw Filipino player, Princess Mary Superal winning the event with scores of 66-71-67 (12-under 204) by three-strokes over major winner South Korea’s So Yeon Ryu 65-75-67 (9-under 207).
Lydia Ko, the former World No. 1 finished third at 8-under 209.
