Amandeep Drall, one of India’s leading performers on the domestic women’s pro tour, tied for 13th at the US$ 46,000 LET Access Series event in Switzerland with consistent scores of 71-72-71 for a 2-under par total of 214. Over in Bangkok, on the main Ladies European Tour ( LET) 25 year old Tvesa Malik finished in a tie for 26th in the US$ 500,000 Aramco Team Series at Thai Country Golf Club shooting 75-72-68 for a 1-under total of 215, making her 5th cut in 7 starts this season.
The 29-year-old Drall has conditional status (Category 15) on the LET this year while Tvesa has full playing rights on the main LET tour having finished 18th in the LET rankings in 2021.
In the Aramco team’s section, Malik was the captain of the team which consisted of three pros and an amateur – Anais Maggetti of Switzerland, Nobuhle Dlamini of Eswatini, and Airi Mitsuhashi (A) of Japan who finished 15th with rounds of 136-132 (20-under 268).
Malik and Drall will play this week’s US$ 260,000 Jabra Ladies Open from May 19-21 at Evian Resort Golf Club in France. They will be joined by Vani Kapoor, Suchitra Ramesh, Aditi Ashok, Astha Madan and Neha Tripathi.
