Indian squad at MercedesTrophy World Final

Three Indians are travelling to Stuttgart Germany this week to play the annual MercedesTrophy World Final where they will compete over 3 rounds with around 200 golfers from 50 countries all over the world from September 29 to October 3. 

Rajshekhar Gopala from Hyderabad, NK Lenka from Bangalore, and Rajesh Saluja from Mumbai had each won their handicap categories at  the 2024 MercedesTrophy National Final at Pune’s Oxford Golf Resort last March following 20 qualifiers across India with a total of 2200 amateur golfers vying for the coveted spots.

Stuttgart, Germany is home to Mercedes-Benz and the birthplace of the automobile. The MercedesTrophy World Final is a pinnacle event in the amateur golf calendar, drawing over 60,000 participants from 60+ countries each year. Known for amazing hospitality the tournament offers a rare opportunity for amateur golfers to compete on a global stage while enjoying the unique blend of competition and opulence that defines the MercedesTrophy.
