Indian team relishes Malaysia experience at WAGC

The Indian team consisting of  Raul Rai, Amit Khansaheb, Amit Rana , Rajagopal R. all from Delhi  and Sandeep Bhartiya from Kolkata, relished the experience of a 72 hole stroke play event against contestants from 25 other countries at the annual World Amateur Golfers Championship played at four courses across Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The players each played in 5 different handicap categories. Raul Rai played in 0-5, Amit Khansaheb in 6-10, Amit Rana in 11-15, Rajagopal in 16-20, and Sandeep Bhartiya in the 21-24. 

India has been sending teams to the WAGC every year since 2009 in one of the largest and best organised Amateur tournaments anywhere, giving amateur club golfers a chance to play in PGA Tour like atmosphere.
