
Shubhankar Sharma has now missed three consecutive cuts on the DP World Tour
Shubhankar falters in Ireland
Despite a reasonable first round 69, Shubhankar Sharma shot a 2nd day 75 to miss the cut by four-strokes in the US$ 6mn Irish Open on the European Tour. It was the third missed cut in a row for the 25-year-old as he struggles to regain the form which saw him finish 2nd at the HSBC Abu Dhabi Open at the start of this season.
Shubhankar, who recorded two European Tour victories in his 2018 rookie ( first year) season on the European Tour currently stands 23rd in the European Tour Rankings.
Adrian Meronk of Poland won the Irish Open by three-strokes after shooting 67-67-68-66 (20-under 268).
Sharma will now play next at the US$ 8mn Scottish Open from July 7-10.
Nikita misses cut in Kansas

Bangalorean Nikita, has shown great perseverance in USA
Nikita Arjun shot 80-76 (12-over 156) to miss the cut at the Heritage Classic, a Women’s All Pro Tour (WAPT) event at Rolling Hills CC in Wichita, Kansas. The WAPT is the qualifying tour for the Epson Tour, which in turn is the qualifying tour for the LPGA.
The 28-year-old Arjun is originally from Bangalore but currently resides in Arizona and trains under William Eldrenkamp at the Legacy Golf Resort in Arizona. She has been playing on the Cactus, Symetra and Women’s All Pro Tour since turning pro in 2018.
