28 year old Vani Kapoor from New Delhi, shot 73-72-72 (1-over 217) to finish tied for 31st at the US$ 220,000 Ladies Italian Open on the European Tour while Amandeep Drall, the only other Indian to make the cut, shot 74-71-74 (3-over 219) to finish tied for 39th.
The tournament was won by Switzerland’s Morgane Metraux, who eagled the first extra hole to beat Italian amateur Alessandra Fanali & England’s Meghan Maclaren after the trio finished tied at 10-under 206.
The Indian pros who missed the cut set at 5-over 149 were Ridhima Dilawari (77-73), Tvesa Malik (80-71) & Neha Tripathi (80-74).
