23 year old Karandeep Kochhar of Chandigarh who has enjoyed considerable success on the PGTI with 4 wins so far, continues to gain confidence overseas as he finished leading Indian in Korea at the US$980,000 GS Caltex Maekyung Open Golf Championship at Namseoul Country Club in South Korea which is co-sanctioned by the Korean PGA and the Asian Tour.
Kochhar shot 69-69-72 to finish 26th at 3-under 210 as the tournament was reduced to 54-holes due to heavy rain on the third day.

Veteran golfer Jeev Milkha Singh, who will head to the USA to play the Seniors PGA Championship in two weeks, finished a creditable 35th after shooting 71-70-71 (1-under 212). Honey Baisoya shot 69-72-73 (1-over 214) to finish T51st, and Gaganjeet Bhullar shot 72-70-76 (5-over 218) to finish T68th.

The Asian Tour takes a long summer break and will return next month with the Korea Open from June 22-25.
