Kartik Singh cruised to a comfortable victory at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) GC, in Bangalore

14-year-old Kartik Singh sailed to a dominant victory in the 64TH Annual IGU All India Junior Boys Championship, held at the regal Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) in Bangalore.

Currently ranked 135th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR), his best rank till date, Kartik earned the overall junior boys champion title in the (A+B) combined category by a whopping 9 strokes after playing top-class golf in challenging wet and windy course conditions, at a total score of 11-under-par over 4 rounds (67-68-67-71) on the demanding course, from the championship tees.

Within his own age category B (U-15), Kartik’s win margin was a staggering 19 strokes. With a sensational year behind him, the young talent will look to carry this momentum when he plays as the youngest player on the 12-member Asia Pacific All-Star Men’s amateur team against Europe at the Ryder Cup-style Bonallack Trophy, in UAE from January 8-10.
