Former PGA tour player, Anirban Lahiri continuing his season as part of his two year contract with LIV golf, playing on the team led by Bryson deChambeau, shot 71-69-75 (1-under 215) to finish tied for 30th at LIV Golf’s second event of the 2023 season at The Gallery Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona.
Lahiri’s team had emerged winners of the team prize in the first LIV Tour event of the year.
The field in the 48-player, no-cut, 54-hole event had $20 million on the line in the individual competition. Danny Lee of New Zealand who has played in Asia for several years outlasted Mexico’s Carlos Ortiz, Brendan Steele and South African Louis Oosthuizen to claim victory.
Anirban will be seen in action again from March 31-April 2 at LIV’s event at Orange County National in Orlando, Florida.
