21-year-old pro, Lakhmehar Pardesi of Chandigarh shot 75-78-74 (11-over 227) on a demanding Noida GC course to win her maiden professional title on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour.
18 year old Jahanvi Bakshi, who has had a solid run of form in the previous two events finished a shot back as Lakhmehar drained an eight footer on the final hole.
Amateur Avani Prashanth of Bangalore who turns 15 in October, added to her 2nd and 4th place finishes in the previous two weeks by finishing 3rd at 230. This was also her sixth top amateur title in 12 starts on the tour.
The tour now will take a break for four weeks before returning for the 10th event of the season at Chandigarh Golf Club from Oct. 12-15.
