In keeping with the trend of record prize money in world professional golf, the 2024 Ladies European Tour’s 2024 season will see a huge jump in prize money with 31 events across 20 countries & more than €34 million in total prize money.
Fortunately three Indian golfers will be fully qualified to play the LET full time, Aditi Ashok, Diksha Dagar who finished 4th and 3rd on the LET’s 2023 final rankings and Mysore’s Pranavi Urs who earned her privileges at the LET Qualifier in Morocco two weeks ago.
The flagship event of the LET will be the US$5 million Aramco Saudi Ladies International Presented by PIF, played at Riyadh Golf Club.
LET players will have the opportunity to compete for their home countries at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games at Le Golf National in August via the Olympic Golf Rankings. From India, Aditi and Diksha appear to be sure shots for the Olympic spots.
Later, the US$400,000 Hero Women’s Indian Open is part of the LET schedule again for Oct. 18-21 at DLF Golf & CC in Gurgaon.
