17-year-old Sneha Singh of Hyderabad who recently joined the professional ranks, shot 74-71-66-70 (7-under 281) to win the Ladies European Tour’s (LET) Stage 1 Qualifier event in Asia at the Classic Golf & CC in Gurgaon. The premier women’s tour in Europe hosted its first ever Asia qualifier, providing opportunities to the increasing number of women pro golfers from the continent and particularly from India.
A total of 27 players, including 14 Indian lady pro golfers entered the Qualifier, with the top-9 and ties advancing to the Final Qualifying scheduled for Dec. 17-21 in Spain.
Hitaashee Bakshi, the younger of the two Bakshi sisters, shot 68-74-71-71 (4-under 284) to finish third, three-shots behind Sneha Singh, to confirm her berth in the final stage in Spain. Joining Sneha and Hitaashee in Spain will be Neha Tripathi and Seher Atwal, who shot 1-over 289 and 2-over 290.

Seher Atwal – 72-77-73-68 (2-over 290); 8th
The top-25 finishers are now eligible for the WPGA Tour of Australia which in 2022 features 11 events in its calendar.
