Aditi’s form could carry her to medal contention at the Paris Olympics
Aditi Ashok, 26, preparing to try and better her 4th place finish at the Tokyo Olympics when she appears in her third Olympic Games this August in Paris, finished tied-35th at the US$10.4mn Women’s PGA Championship with rounds of 72-77-72-74. This is her best finish in 3 majors this season, in which she has made all the cuts.
Halfway through the 2024 LPGA season, Aditi has shown consistency, making 10 cuts in 13 events. She is now 65th on the LPGA Money List but 81st in the LPGA Tour’s Race to the CME Globe Rankings, and needs to finish in the top 80 to retain her full LPGA Tour playing rights for 2025.
Last year also, Aditi made cuts in all four majors she played, skipping only the Chevron Championship. Given her current form, she could very well contend for a medal at the Olympics in Paris.
