24-year-old pro Viraj Madappa, one of India’s brightest young talents shot 71-65-72-74 (2-under 282) to finish tied for 10th at the US$ 950,000 Caltex Maekyung Open in South Korea, an Asian Tour event.
Madappa is enjoying a good run of form and won Asian Games qualifying event at Bangalore last week.

6 of the 8 other Indians in the field in Korea made the cut including Honey Baisoya, Khalin Joshi, Karandeep Kochhar, Chikkarangappa S. Veer Ahlawat, Gaganjeet Bhullar. Shiv Kapur & Aman Raj missed the cut which came at 3-over 145.
