Elected MPGS Committee Members
The Meghalaya Golf Promoters’ Society, the official Golf Association of Meghalaya, as recognised by the Indian Golf Union, recently concluded its Annual General Meeting in Shillong, where the state’s flagship golf course keeps the game alive. The meeting included two officers from armed forces, (Assam Rifles, 58 GTC and Umroi Environment Park and Training Area) local golfers and followed the National Sports Code.
The society is dedicated to promoting and developing golf in Meghalaya and has successfully organised various National and International events, boosting tourism and putting the state on the national golf map.
