Mercedes-Benz India hosted the national final of its annual golf event at Oxford Golf & Country Club, Pune. A total of 51 players who had qualified from 17 different regional events were invited to compete for three spots (one each from three categories) to represent India at the Mercedes Trophy World Finals in Stuttgart, Germany in September this year.
The event included a welcome dinner with senior management of Mercedes Benz India, a visit to the Mercedes Benz manufacturing plant where players enjoyed a breath taking off road driving experience, a practice round and the 18-hole tournament.
Anupama to go to British Open

The incredible Drive to Major prize was won by Anupama Vatal of Bangalore who hit her drive on the 16th to just 2 inches of the centre line. She wins a once in a lifetime trip to the 150th British Open championship at St Andrews Scotland, next month as a guest of Mercedes-Benz who are the official automobile partners of the The Open Championship.
