In what is sure to give a huge boost to golf’s numbers in the capital, the DDA announced that their 2nd 18 hole championship course at Dwarka, in West Delhi, currently under construction, is slated to be completed by the end of the year.
Spanning 159 acres, the golf course is touted to play 7,377 yards which is comparable to the Jaypee Greens golf course in Greater Noida, which measures 7,374 yards, and Chandigarh GC at 7,202 yards.
The Dwarka golf course will feature MiniVerde grass for the first time in the country, which exhibits straight vertical growth and can be precisely trimmed.

The golf course will also feature one of the country’s lengthiest driving ranges at 372 yards. This double-decker driving range will accommodate 52 bays across two levels, with 26 bays on each floor.
Ample parking space accommodating up to 180 vehicles and a 15-acre parcel of land for potential future commercial development is part of the master plan.
