Joaquín Niemann registered his second LIV Golf Tour individual title of the year, in Singapore
Former PGA TOUR star Joaquín Niemann of Chile continued his dominant run on the LIV Golf circuit, clinching his second individual title of the 2025 season with a commanding five-shot victory at LIV Golf Singapore, played at the famous Sentosa Golf Club from March 14-16. The 26-year-old carded a bogey-free six-under 65 in the final round, finishing at 17-under for the tournament. This follows his win in Adelaide earlier this season and marks his fourth career LIV Golf victory, placing him just behind 2-time U.S. Champion Brooks Koepka, who leads with five titles. Niemann’s closest competitor was Koepka, who fired a final-round 66 to finish solo second at 12-under.
Lahiri finishes tied-25th; Crushers GC place fifth
2-time European Tour winner Anirban Lahiri finished tied-25th after carding a final-round two-under 69. Lahiri, who is a team member of the Crushers GC, had earlier rounds of 70 and 72, closing the tournament at one-under. His team, led by Captain Bryson DeChambeau, finished fifth on the team leaderboard at 13-under, with DeChambeau’s 67, Paul Casey’s 70, and Charles Howell III’s 70 contributing to the final tally.

Fireballs secure historic third consecutive team victory
On the team front, Fireballs GC scripted history by becoming the first squad in 3 years to win three consecutive LIV Golf events. Captained by Sergio Garcia, the Fireballs finished at 22-under, three strokes ahead of Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII. Garcia, battling bronchitis and a fever of 102.4°F, managed an even-par tournament finish, while his teammates David Puig (66), Abraham Ancer (69), and Luis Masaveu (68) propelled the team to victory.
Fireballs’ winning streak mirrors the record set by Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC in 2022, who won four straight titles in the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series. Garcia acknowledged the challenge ahead as the team sets its sights on equaling that record at LIV Golf Miami next month.
Niemann claims No. 1 spot in Individual Standings
With his victory, Niemann moved to the top of the Individual Championship points standings, a position he last held in 2024 after his second season win in Jeddah. The ranking comes with added significance this year, as the top LIV Golf player not already qualified for the U.S. Open will earn an exemption for the Major Championship at Oakmont. Niemann, whose only missing major is the U.S. Open, expressed his focus on consistent performances rather than rankings.
Upcoming: International Series Macau and The Open qualification
Next on the LIV golfing calendar is the US$2 million International Series Macau, scheduled for March 20-23 as part of the Asian Tour which offers three players direct entry into the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
LIV Golf stars and three Major Champions—Sergio Garcia, Graeme McDowell, and Patrick Reed—will compete at Macau Golf and Country Club along with Anirban Lahiri and two-time Macau Open Champion Gaganjeet Bhullar.
