Nikita earns her Epson Tour playing status back with recent reshuffle

28-year-old former Bangalore native, Nikita Arjun, a graduate of Armstrong University, and regular on the Women’s All Pro Tour in USA, has gained full exemption on the LPGA’s Epson Tour for the remainder of the season. When asked to explain the situation, she expressed her surprise and gratitude, stating, “So I started with not the greatest status. I didn’t think I would get into any tournaments. But I managed to secure a spot in the Epson tournament in Battle Creek, Michigan, at the beginning of the month. I made the cut there before the second reshuffle, and now that the reshuffle is done, I have earned better status. I should be playing the rest of the season starting this month!”

Nikita just last week finished tied-42nd with a total of 8-over 296 at the  US$55,000 Oscar Williams Classic, a Women’s All Pro Tour event held at Hurricane Creek CC in Texas.

Nikita will join two other Indians who have playing rights on the 2023 Epson Tour, Nishtha Madan, formerly from Delhi, and 19 yr old Mysorean Pranavi Urs who also enjoys limited playing rights on the Ladies European Tour .

The Epson tour consists of 20 tournaments with purses of US$200,000 each with the top ranked players at the end of the season automatically qualifying for the lucrative LPGA Tour, the following year where the only Indian currently exempt is Aditi Ashok.
